Straight answers to the questions service businesses ask about Notaray: what it’s for, what’s built, what’s on the way and what we haven’t decided yet. Notaray isn’t live yet, and early access is opening for design partners.

## The basics

### What is Notaray?

Notaray is an AI front door for service businesses, and it’s almost here. It will pick up the requests your team can’t, check the real calendar, save the booking, read it back and confirm once the calendar shows it.

### Is it live?

Notaray is in development at Agnotiq.

### Who is behind it?

Notaray is made by the team at Agnotiq. The About page says more about who writes here and how we work.

### Who is it for?

Small service businesses in the United States and Canada that run on an appointment calendar and lose requests when the team is busy or closed.

## How it works

### Does it answer calls yet?

Not yet, and it’s on the way. The booking engine is in testing now. Browser voice comes next, then overflow, missed and after-hours phone coverage, subject to testing. Design partners get an early look.

### Which calendars will it work with?

No integration is announced yet. Design partners help choose and validate the initial calendar, so tell us which one runs your day.

### What if a booking fails?

That’s the rule: nobody hears “confirmed” unless the calendar shows it. An uncertain result goes to a named person with a deadline and the context to follow up.

### Other AI receptionists exist. Why this one?

Answering is one job. Notaray is built around the other one: a booking that actually lands and can be checked. That’s a design goal, not a performance guarantee.

## Cost, trials and privacy

### How much will it cost?

We plan to charge for verified bookings, not minutes. Prices are not set.

### Can I try it?

Design partners get in early. We’re opening a limited number of spots to walk through your booking workflow with us. A pilot place isn’t guaranteed.

### Does it speak French or Spanish?

This site is already in English, French and Spanish. Which languages the voice agent will speak on calls isn’t announced yet and is subject to testing.

### What about call recording, consent and privacy?

Notaray doesn’t take calls yet, so it records nothing. No phone pilot starts without a review of recording-consent rules where it runs. The privacy policy covers what this site collects.

## Still wondering? Ask us.

If your question isn’t here, bring it to a design-partner conversation. Spots are limited.
